Just wish they had made this clear at the time of the booking, rather then tell us that they were a family friendly establishment. I just would say, it's not really a family friendly place, and is more suitable for couples. Like I said, the food is very good, and so is the scenery. We didn't even get to have the cake we brought for the birthday, as they told us they wouldn't cut it and serve it, and the way we were told to sit the kids down, it didn't feel like we could sing happy birthday or make any noise. After that, we kind of felt we were tip toeing on egg shells, and couldn't wait to get out of there. Kent it was amazing 5.00 Rating details 10 ratings 3 reviews This is the true story of a British boy, born in the West Midlands in the year of 1937. One of the waitresses came and told us pretty strongly that the kids MUST sit down. Passing Clouds (Passing Clouds 1) by G.A.A. There was no screaming or shouting, but kids being kids at that age, they weren't really sitting down for the whole time, and were roaming around our table. We were there for about 2 hours all up, and I believe the kids we pretty well behaved. When booking I specifically asked whether it's ok to bring two toddlers with us and was told yes, they are family friendly. Went there for a small 40th birthday party, 2 couples and 2 kids 3yo and 2yo. Food is very good, setting is beautiful, and if it wasn't for the staff making us feel uncomfortable to be there with kids and the fact that they would not cut the birthday cake and bring it to us, I'd probably have given this a 5 star rating.
